- CBAM-Digital Citizenship - For the CBAM project I chose the Digital Citizenship program for my research and its use at the K-8th grade local school where my children attend and I volunteer. Common Sense Media is the go-to program for the school in acquiring lessons and providing resources for parents/ caregivers.
- iPad ratings for Pediatric Patients - The iPad rating system was created to give parents of patients in the Emergency Department the ratings for the media we had on our iPad systems. We also referred parents to Common Sense Media for more information on apps, games and movies.

- Technology Integrative Learning Plan - Using Virtual Reality we will be able to offer 1:1 Virtual Reality field trips for pediatric patients and their families. We will utilize Discovery Education to break down barriers to exploration and to increase patient satisfaction. Virtual Reality can be adapted and used for many populations of patients. Relaxation, field-trips, play and educational opportunities are a few of the uses in children's hospitals.
- Sensory Machine for Emergency Department - We utilize a Southpaw sensory machine in the Emergency Department that can offer calming input or sensory stimulation to patients and their families. The sensory machine is especially useful for children with autism and/or special needs to help calm their environment. I proposed this innovation and received a generous donation from The Association of Auxiliaries for Children to purchase this machine for the Emergency Department.

- Media Class onsite lesson at Pacific Coast TV - the Digital Media class works closely with Pacifica Coast TV, our local community TV station to teach students about working in a TV studio, how to safety work equipment and how to work and capture images with the studio camera.
- Storytelling for Kids and Common Sense Media - I utilize Common Sense Media to teach patients and their families about age - appropriate apps, games and media. They have many resources and services that are useful for patients and families. For my final project in Intermediate Web Development I included links to Common Sense Media on both the I'm a Blogger page and I'm a Vlogger page to encourage children to speak about digital privacy and citizenship to their parents prior to starting an online site.

- Technology Integration Committee - I was selected to be a part of the Association of Child Life Professionals national organizations Technology Integration Committee whose mission is to evaluate the integration of technology in clinical practice, develop original technology solutions, and support child life professionals’ knowledge of technology-based applications.
- My Child Life Twitter - When I was looking into graduate school I spoke with former students from several universities. Advice that was given to me was that the best place to stay up to date for EdTech updates and Digital Media was to open a Twitter account. I utilize my Twitter to share ideas, make announcements and research current tools for practice.
