Reflection:
This course was a blast! I already knew a little about graphic design, but it had been a while since I used the programs regularly. My focus during this class was to learn design and digital media tools that I could then teach children in the hospital. I learned that photoshop can be a fun method and a way to spend countless hours creating a family portrait. I learned how to create audio and video that would help children create a legacy project which they and/or their families can enjoy for many years. I learned that putting it all together in a final webpage can be a place to store those projects and images so that they don’t get lost or worn over time. For my projects I decided to practice what I preached and create a legacy project for my family, a fun photoshop project of my daughters for the image project and for the audio and then video project I created a story highlighting my daughters Girl Scout Troop for World Thinking Day.
